Just 300 metres from the doors of the Tilawa lies Costa Rica’s finest Skatepark.

Parents with teenagers prone to getting bored? Simple, drop them off at the skatepark at dawn, pick them up at sunset, and they will sleep the rest of the time!

The skatepark was recently visited by a number of pro skaters and their antics were featured on Adrenalina TV and shown throughout the US on Telemundo and ESPN.

The skatepark is free of charge.

Safety Note: If you are planning to use the skatepark, we strongly recommend the use of helmets, knee and elbow pads. It is a big drop into the 9 footer, and its concrete at the bottom!
